On the 6th – 8th August 2024 in Sheffield we are proud to present our UKEV Summer School open to anyone that wants to learn about EVs, gaining a better understanding of the theory and getting an hands on experience of how to isolate and characterise them.
This includes:
- EV leader speakers
- Theoretical introductions to current practice in working with EVs.
- Hands-on demonstrations of the common EV isolation methods.
- Real-time demonstrations of EV characterisation.
- Meals, drinks, and en-suite accommodation covered with the ticket.
- Networking event with demonstrators so you can meet the technical experts.
- An evening event in the heart of “Steel City” history at Kelham Island museum – in the heart of Steel City Heritage
- Confirmed demonstrators so far include Quanterix, Analytik, Beckman-Coulter, Meritics, Cellarcus, Izon, Cell Guidance Systems and Vesiculab…more to follow!

The summer school will be held in the Sheffield Hallam University, Owen Building, which is accessed by the main entrance to the City Campus. We are a five minute walk from Sheffield rail station, and a two minute walk from the central bus and coach terminus.
